Hitachi Automotive Systems to Exhibit Next-generation Mobility
Technology Products and Systems at Auto Shanghai 2015

Shanghai, April 10, 2015 --- Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd. and Hitachi Astemo Automotive Systems (China) Ltd. today announced that the company will exhibit at the 2015 Shanghai International Automotive Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2015) to be held from April 22 to April 29 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
Under the theme of "Experience and Feel the next generation of mobility technology racing into the future," the company will exhibit a wide range of products and systems powered by leading-edge environment, safety and information technologies developed by the Hitachi Automotive System Group to advance mobility into the next generation and beyond.
A first focus of the exhibits will be synergy solutions. These include the high-efficiency ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) system aimed at accelerating the evolution of this type of currently market-dominating engine. Motors, inverters, batteries and other key components of electric powertrain systems are being featured to accent the high compatibility of these systems with future intelligent cars. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) control units and other ADAS technologies required for sophisticated driver support are also being presented.
The mobility technology car display is designed to give visitors a first-first hand look at a broad lineup of Hitachi Automotive Systems Group environment, safety and information technology-intensive products using a real-scale car mockup.
Another attraction sure to be popular is a nine-seat driving simulator that maneuvers around six axes in sync with images flashed on a large front screen. The simulator gives riders the feel of Hitachi Automotive Systems' high-performance driving control technologies while thrilling them with exciting IndyCar racing scenes.
At Auto Shanghai 2015, Hitachi Astemo Automotive Systems (China) Ltd. will exhibit jointly with Clarion Co., Ltd., and Dongguan Clarion Orient Electronics Co., Ltd., which is one of Clarion's local corporations in China, at the Hitachi Automotive Systems booth (Booth No. 52 B201) in the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
